The End Averted...

I was on the computer at 9 'o' clock this morning (already adjusted for Daylight Savings Time) and I noticed a red light illuminating my arm.
Last time I checked, it was well past dawn.
I looked out the window and I saw a blood-red sun. The light was passing through a filter of thick, gray smoke. Later on, the news confirmed that three brushfires had broken out in nearby areas... thankfully, the wind was blowing away from my home. It looked pretty bad on TV; It was a giant tornado of fire, licking away at the darkened sky. It's a bit worrying when there's dry brush practically all around where you live.

In case nobody figured by now, I haven't made any progress on that comic. No real motivation anymore, as things have been really busy with college preparations and SAT taking lately. On top of that, I'm getting most of the critiques I need from classes like Animation and Computer Graphics Art. I believe that may be part of the reason why I also felt no motivation to mingle with the Internet community...
I'm still drawing, though. That probably won't change. ;)

Oh, I completely forgot to tell you something over AIM today, Seel and Skifi agree to help us out, so now my 4 person collaberation is officially a go! ... After my battle with Seel of course, by the end of November I should be done penciling completely!

Heh, well anywho, in case you're wondering where I am most of the time, I've left smashboards for good (figured if they were going to constantly treat me like an ass I wouldn't hang out or around those 4 year-olds), and moved on to a place that's an artistic paradise!
[link] is the place I'm talking about (and it's also the place where you'll find that person in blue that I was fighting in my comic), I've already got a character up there (took me a hell of a long time) and I'm already on my secound fight with somebody else. It's a great place art wise, you basicly fight art with art you could say, depending on how you make your comic you could easily win or loose depending on certain things.
I would honestly like to see you and possibly canis join up in void (ditch the smashboards nursery and head on over to a more mature site basicly ), it's already helped improve my skills greatly! BTW, in case either of you wish to contact me, I've got a secret AIM s/n now, I'm not to willing to let it out but if you can find it somewhere don't be afraid to drop by and say hello! See ya later man!
